Soil hydraulic parameters (i.e. saturated hydraulic conductivity porosity field capacity and wilting point) at high spatial resolution (1km×1km) were prepared for the IPHEx-H4SE project (Integrated Precipitation and Hydrology Experiment – Hydrologic Applications for the Southeast US). The data sets were extracted from the State Soil Geographic (STATSGO) database (http://soils.usda.gov/survey/geography/statsgo/) for the Southeast US in the IPHEx-H4SE domain at 11 standard soil layers defined in STATSGO i.e. 0~5cm 5~10cm 10~20cm 20~30cm 30~40cm 40~60cm 60~80cm 80~100cm 100~150cm 150~200cm and 200~250cm. The original data were extracted projected to UTM 17N and resampled to 1km resolution. Missing data are represented by -9999. The soil data provide most common soil properties required by hydrological modeling.\ UTM 17N (WGS84) resolution 1Km boundary info: Top 4135816.67952; Left 57548.6334476; Right 773548.633448; Bottom 3525816.67952\ These data were originally made available at http://hdl.handle.net/10161/8959 and were migrated to the Duke Digital Repository on 11/20/2017.
