Submit dataset that exceeds 25 GB

Due to the substantial time it may take to upload large datasets via the web browser and potential timeout interruptions, Globus will be used to transfer all datasets over 25 GBs.

Steps for submitting larger datasets:

• Fill out the submission form, but do not upload the data files in the last section of the form
• Go to Globus and login using your Duke credentials
• Wait for the Globus collection folder link to be sent to you via email
• Structure your files either in a flat structure (one level, no folders) or package (zip, tar, gzip, etc.) your folders into a flat set of packages. Keep your overall README file outside of any zipped/tarred folders.
• Transfer your files via Globus see these instructions
• Email datamanagement@duke.edu when the upload is complete
