Title: Foul tip impact attenuation of baseball catcher masks using head impact metrics Data Collector: Chris Eckersley, Duke University, cpe4@duke.edu Date of collection: 11/8/2015 Location of Collection: Duke University, Durham, North Carolina This repository consists of 54 seperate files in two different types of format, a .COL and a .txt. The .COL was created using WIN600E a software used by the MeDaq data collection system. These files were then loaded into notepad++ and saved as .txt files so they can be used in a variety of analysis platforms. The files have general information in the first 15 lines, such as the date the filename, data and time of recording, units used, and trigger information. In the file there are eight different columns of data in the units shown. The first column is a time vector, the data was sampled at 200 kHz. Columns 2-4 are the linear accelerations in the x, y, and z directions respectively. Columns 5-7 are the angular velocities about the x, y, and z axis respectively. Column 8 is the moment about the x axis where the head and neck are joined.
