README for Overview

DESCRIPTION

This folder contains an overview of the 2016 and 2017 UAS flights in and around 
the Vulci archeological site. The overview document provides concise historical 
information for the site, methodology for the flights, and the results of these 
two deployments. The folder also contains an .mp4 fly-through derived from Vulci 
RGB missions in 2016. 

METHODS

The overview draws from the structure for drone publications defined in Barnas et 
al and published in the Journal of Unmanned Vehicle Systems in Spring 2020, and 
translated to the publication format defined in Nature.com submission guidelines. 
The .mp4 file for the Vulci fly-through was developed using video 
animation capabilities within Pix4Dmapper.
