- An interview with Caitlin Leggett by Lauren Relaford. Conducted November 15, 2021 via Zoom. A college student, poet, and activist; Caitlin Leggett strives to empower others through illuminating the power in the intersectionality of identities. Caitlin has recently published a book of poems entitled, “Mad, Black, Woman.: Diaries on the Intersectionality of a Black Woman.” Ms. Leggett’s activism has been focused on the Movement for Black Lives specifically in her hometown of Durham, North Carolina.
