- An interview with Tariah Hyland conducted via Zoom by Cameron Haskins on November 1, 2023. Tariah Hyland is a youth activist from Wilmington, Delaware. During her time in high school, Tariah cofounded the Black Student Coalition, and had a direct hand in passing a law requiring Black history education in Delaware k-12 schools (HB-198). Currently a junior at Howard University, Tariah has continued her activism work and is president of the Black Girls Vote Howard Chapter.
