- An interview with Margot Francini conducted via Zoom by Meghan Koya on November 16, 2023. Margot Francini is a climate activist based in North Carolina and is a current student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked with various climate organizations to spread awareness about climate issues, have climate conversations, and strike. For the last three years, she has been working with No Coal UNC, which advocates against coal use at UNC's cogeneration power plant. Francini is also involved in per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFA) research extending her climate work into new spaces
