- An interview with Danny Cage conducted via Zoom by Sitara Kumar on October 12, 2023. Danny Cage is a 19-year-old activist based in Portland, Oregon. He engages in critical environmental justice activism as youth representative of Oregon’s Environmental Justice Council. His advocacy work empowers young people and climate justice through his position as board director of an Oregon school district. As a previous special education student, Danny is dedicated to uplifting students from all walks of life by taking an individualized approach to education.
